Configure Global Device Settings
After the initial deployment of the Cybereason Mobile platform and integration (if needed) with your UEM/MDM platform, you are ready to specify your preferences for device deployment.
You can specify any of the following:
Network traffic preferences
Data privacy preferences
Add IP addresses to your firewall rules
Your Cybereason Mobile deployment team will help you set these settings for your Cybereason Mobile instance but you should be aware of the available options you have.

Set data privacy preferences
By default, Cybereason Mobile displays real user information, including web browsing and app activity in reports.
If your organization requires that specific device user identities remain private, you have the option to make user identities anonymous. For example, if you enable this option, a real user name, such as johnsmith@yourcompany.com will change to Mobile User 12345 so it is not clear that the data is from a specific named user.
The anonymous user identities remain the same as long as a device user name remains constant. This enables administrators and analysts to see usage and potentially malicious behavior for devices over time without knowing user information.
If an administrator or other member of your organization discovers the real identity of an anonymous user, you have the ability to re-do the anonymization process. This will change the association of anonymous identities to their devices. As a result, performing the anonymization process again may cause difficulty for analysts and admins since the association between anonymous user names and devices is now different and the platform may not be able to connect the new anonymous identity and device to the previous device for the identity.
Define network exceptions
In some cases, there are network-based services and applications that are not usable with the default settings used by Cybereason Mobile. In these cases, you can add network exceptions to help your device users connect to the services and applications they need.
Your Cybereason Mobile team will help you add these exceptions in your Cybereason Mobile environment and define how existing Cybereason Mobile protection will apply to these services and applications.
Add Cybereason Mobile traffic IP addresses to your firewall rules
If you use devices with the Proxy deployment mode and you have firewall restrictions that block access to external addresses, you need to add the following list of IP addresses to your firewall rules. Your network can receive network traffic from any of these IP addresses.
Note
You must add all the IP addresses in this list, not just the IP addresses in the countries where you operate. Although traffic will usually come from relevant countries, each of these addresses can be used as a backup for technical reasons.
